Christmas 2023 is almost here and Debs Stephens and the Belfrey Seniors' are excited to invite you to their Christmas event.

On Friday 1st December the De Grey Rooms will host the Belfrey Seniors' annual Christmas event from 11am. 

There will be lights, music, a light lunch, carol singing, Christmas quiz, creative activities and a Christmas reflection. 

Please let Debs know by emailing her at debbie.stephens@belfrey.org.  There will be a cost of about £20 but this be will be confirmed. 

Once you have booked your place more details will be sent regarding timings and cost. 

Join the senior’s and 9am worship team for an afternoon of worship with refreshments provided. The event will be in Belfrey Hall (52A Stonegate).

Cost

If you can make it let me know by August 10th, at the latest, as I can get a group discount. 

However, admission to Lotherton is free for members of the Leeds Art Fund, Friends of Leeds City Museums, the Museums Association, the National Arts Collection Fund, and Yorkshire’s Great Houses Castles and Garden card holders.

Parking
Admission includes parking charges. Please advise the welcome cabin staff if you require accessible parking or any other access assistance.

Lotherton is dog friendly, so feel free to bring yours if you would like to.

The Stables Café is available if people would like lunch and it would be good to start the day there with a coffee (that is for me) when we arrive.

Starting at 2pm, we will look at different aspects of living financially healthy, wealthy and wise. Together with York Age UK we will consider such things as powers of attorney, financial support and being aware of scammers. Come from 1.45pm for tea and coffee ready to engage with what could help you future proof your finances.

The Seniors are meeting in St Michael le Belfrey for an afternoon of extended worship together from 1pm.

There will be refreshments and cake served during the afternoon.

Come and join us on Wednesday 20 April at 2.30pm in the Belfrey Hall (52A Stonegate, York YO1 8AS, entrance next to Berry’s) where we will have a time of worship. Some of our amazing worship team will lead us in singing, sharing and just spending time in God's presence. Refreshments will be served. The event aims to finish by 4pm.

Back by popular demand is another tour of the Minster, with Elaine Davies as our guide. Wednesday 30 October Meeting outside the Minster, unless bad weather then inside, for a prompt start at 2pm.
