The Belfrey is a supportive community. We aim to support and care for people with the same heart of compassion as Jesus. We also want to encourage every person in their Christian faith journey as they seek to become more like Jesus, following the Bible’s teaching to love God and love each other. We aim to reflect God’s heart across our community, to bring wholeness and healing to individuals and relationships as we seek to bring God’s kingdom on earth.

How We Support People

The main way we support people is through prayer and a listening ear, providing support to our church community as they go through difficulties.

Our pastoral visiting team are happy to make home visits to those who are largely housebound or ill as well as visit people in hospital. Communion is also offered for those who desire it but are unable to regularly attend church.

Our pastoral advocacy team are there to offer more specific advice and guidance, to talk through any issues with you and work towards a solution without judging. They can point you in the direction of the right support for you, whether something within the church, a charity partnered to the church or helping you seek additional help elsewhere.

This is how it usually works, but if you are unsure about anything and can’t find the support you’re looking for then please get in touch by emailing us. We’re always here to talk.

How to Access

The main way to connect is through one of our Belfrey groups. They are a small community within the larger church community that can provide initial help and support as well as pray with you. If you are not part of a Belfrey group but would like to be you can sign up here to be connected.

You can also email pastoral@belfrey.org to be connected with a member of the team, arrange a visit or seek further help.

You can call our office on 01904 624190 Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
