As part of our commitment to welcoming and supporting refugees, The Belfrey is a member of Welcome Churches.
Rosie Holmes has been informally overseeing this area of ministry for some time, supported by some volunteers from The Belfrey, which we have been very grateful for.
We are pleased to share that this has now been formalised, and Rosie will be taking on the volunteer role as Refugee Church Welcome Co-ordinator. This will be an addition to our Social Transformation Ministry.
If you meet someone at one of our services who may benefit from additional support and signposting to services in our city which might be helpful, please get in touch with Rosie directly.
Rosie can help connect individuals with appropriate refugee support services and organisations across our city, ensuring they can access the help and guidance they need.
Thank you for helping us make The Belfrey a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive community for all.
All communication regarding Welcome Refugee Church will go through hello@thebelfrey.org. Please do not share Rosie’s Belfrey name or email directly.
Thank you to Rosie and the heart she has for this ministry.
