As the afternoons become darker and colder, it is becoming more difficult for our Safe Families volunteers to take the children they support to the park after school. We would therefore love to offer them a welcoming indoor alternative.
Would The Belfrey consider blessing our volunteers with craft packs that they could collect and use with the children and families they support?
Our volunteers support primary-school-aged children from 4 to 11 years old. A selection of simple, age-appropriate activities would help volunteers create enjoyable, creative time together during the autumn and winter months.
We would be grateful for a range of themed packs. Christmas crafts could be included, but more general themes would allow the packs to be used more widely. Packs might include complete kits or a small assortment of items such as card, paper, stickers, colouring materials, glue, craft shapes, and simple decorations.
Baker Ross offers both craft kits and individual supplies. Suitable items may also be available from supermarkets, The Works, and Amazon.
Craft donations can be placed in the Safe Families donation box in the De Grey Rooms foyer.
