Do you have a spare room and some space in your life?
Britain has a fine history of granting asylum to those who need it - could you play your part in the UK continuing to be a welcoming country for refugees?
If so, would you consider taking in a teenager who has fled conflict or persecution abroad and found themselves alone in York looking for a safe place to call home or would you be interested in supporting families caring for refugee children?
Several children have already come to our city and are living with families of various shapes and sizes, but there is a need for more. We are called to take care of orphans, to open our homes to strangers and to provide for the poor. This is a practical way of doing that for these vulnerable children.
